Cello You No Longer Use?

We offer advice and valuation on Cellos,

We do not buy modern factory made student instruments.

Fast Payment

Payment

Payment can be made to you by Bank Transfer or cheque immediately. This is the fastest and most convenient way of selling and achieving a fair price.

Selling at auction takes many months and can also end in disappointment when items often fail to sell or reach a poor price.

Photos

Try to recreate the photos shown, and make sure the pictures are well-focused and taken against a plain, neutral-coloured background. Do not use flash if possible, daylight is best. Always take pictures straight at the face of an instrument, no artistic shots at an angle.

Competitive Prices

The costs of auctioneers commission, buyers premium, photography and insurance can add up to over 35% of the price paid by the buyer. We can usually match or better the price that you are likely to receive when selling at an auction.

If you would like a valuation and perhaps an offer, please send us your pictures of your instrument to info@amberviolins.com as an email attachment or call 0044 (0)7767 833836 with full details.

Postage and Insurance

If you do choose to sell to Amberviolins, your instruments can be sent to us by courier or registered post from anywhere in the world. We have specialist insurance that will cover instruments in transit and are often willing to pay for the instruments in advance. We will also travel to see collections or higher value items that are for sale.
